Urgent Needs in Ukraine

February 16th, 2019|

Our Dear Friends We trust that you are all well and enjoying God's blessings at this time. We continue to be humbled by your wonderful support that has helped us immensely to meet the needs of the destitute in Ukraine. The Needs at Present We are just about to admit more orphans into the Homeless Children's Centre in Odessa. These precious children need food supplies, medicines, warm clothing, blankets, heating and fuel for the bus to transport them to school each day. Added to this are the vital renovations needed to the buildings to accommodate these extra orphans. The local [...]

Early in the morning at the House of Hope

November 29th, 2018|

Every morning kids in The House of Hope begin their day with prayers and studying Bible. For each of them, that is an opportunity to start your day in a right way dedicating it to the Lord. It’s so good to see the open hearts of boys and girls! All kids aim to study Bible and assimilate the values that leaders invest in them. Previously, they spent the morning in a completely different way, but here, in the House of Hope, their morning begins not only with physical, but also with spiritual food. The lives of many biblical heroes demonstrate [...]

A letter from Dave & Margurita

Orphans' Work-Related Courses 2018-2019 Our Dear Friends, May we ask you to stand with us in prayer, and help if you are able, for the urgent needs that the Orphans whom we support in Eastern Europe have right now. We have many teenage orphans needing to finish work-related courses to enable them to prepare to enter the workforce when they turn 18 this year. Some have completed their courses and are looking for work, and many still have 7 months to go until May 2019 for their longer courses to be completed. This enables them to get better jobs and [...]

Update from Cologne

November 19th, 2018|

We trust that you are well and enjoying God's rich blessings at this time. I wanted to share with you some exciting news that has been happening amongst the Russian Jewish people in Cologne, Germany. You know that I was in Germany in September conducting seminars to equip the believers in Russian Church in Cologne where my Russian manager, Sasha, had taken over the oversight of the church. He found that the congregation was 95% Jewish – from Russia and Eastern Europe. He invited me to come and equip them in evangelism using the gifts of the Holy Spirit [...]

Odessa House of Hope for Homeless Kids – current monthly needs

October 17th, 2018|

The House of Hope in Odessa accommodates homeless kids and orphans. It is headed by Ps Petr Emelyanov and team and not only provides a home for the kids but also seeks to guide them in their education and training for their life ahead. Many of the children have given their lives to our Lord through the Word and the love that they have received whilst at the house. Petr and team also seek to influence the community around the house through activities open to all children. We received the following budget from Petr with this message: "We appreciate your [...]

Sweet weekend in Ireland and final weekend of September in Deal, England

October 16th, 2018|

Arranged by an Irish Methodist minister & his wife (Clifford and Ruth Taylor) whom I met when he was pastoring the Methodist Church in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I conducted two missions in that church to people of that needy city in 1983-84. It was great meeting up with Denis and Marie Dowling. Denis had been the All-Ireland President of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship in the 1980s. From 1982 to 1987 I was so privileged to travel to Ireland from South Africa every 6 months to minister the gospel in Catholic schools and parishes across Ireland and Northern Ireland. The weekend [...]

Glorious meetings with Russian Jews in Cologne, Germany ~ September 2018

October 16th, 2018|

I had the blessing of our granddaughter Niamh accompany me to Cologne in mid-September where we had glorious meetings with these Russian Jews. On Friday and Saturday, the four sessions of teaching and equipping in Evangelism, in the power of the Holy Spirit to reach the unchurched, went exceptionally well. On Sunday afternoon we enjoyed a very sweet service with the Russian Jewish people. Pastors from three other churches were there too, who’d had their services in the morning. They have invited me to their churches on the next visit to Cologne. These people brought family members and friends to the meeting and [...]

Wonderful time of celebration with Chinese Churches of London ~ September 2018

October 16th, 2018|

The first Sunday in England, I had a wonderful time of celebration with the Mandarin and Cantonese speaking Chinese Churches of London at their 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving Lunch to celebrate 3 decades of outreach and service to the needy people of this big city. They had successfully planted 4 churches which are growing in numbers and impact on the community. About 250 people filled the Hong Kong City Restaurant in New Cross Road, South East London, together with about 150 of the public who were eating in the place and couldn’t help but hear what we were sharing. 13 young people had [...]

Amazing Ministry in Western Australia ~ August 2018

October 15th, 2018|

In August, I had an amazingly fruitful week of ministry in the Wagin/Narrogin farming region of Western Australia. Arriving on Wednesday evening I had an amazing meeting to 120 students of the Narrogin Agricultural High School (near Wagin) arranged by the School Chaplain. I had supper with the students and staff and shared one of my seminars “Don’t Quit when life gets tough” – with a visual PPT presentation. There was a wonderful response. The next day I was at the Dumbleyung Primary School (near Wagin) where I showed them a Power- Point presentation of the Orphans of Eastern Europe, [...]
