Leviticus 19:10

July 12th, 2017|

Leviticus 19:10 “And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God.” Here we see God providing a way for the poor to find food. He instructed the farmers to not pick every single grape from their grapevine. Instead, they were to leave a few behind so the poor could come in after the workers had left and glean from the leftovers. Can you think of someone today, someone right next to you, someone in need that you [...]

God has a big compassionate heart for the elderly, and especially the poor .

July 11th, 2017|

These people are worthy of attention and support. In years past they were the backbone of the nation. These were the hard workers who supported the economy. These are the people who worked hard and smart to provide for their families and make sure their children grew up to a better life than they had. These are the stalwarts who stood as strongly as they could against the Nazi regime and the oppression of Communism - for most of their lives. They kept the faith when it was easy to compromise, and made sure their children and grandchildren have the [...]

God, I’m serious about serving You

July 10th, 2017|

If you've ever prayed, "God, I'm serious about serving You, please use me in your service" God has taken you seriously and that prayer should be followed by action. God has given us our marching orders; in Mark 16:15 Jesus instructed us, "Go into all the world (all YOUR world) and preach the gospel to every person". Think about it today! God bless You!

Exodus 22:25

July 5th, 2017|

In the book of “If you lend money to any of My people who are poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest.” Can you think of someone to help them on their feet today? Could it be someone right next to you? Why don’t you do something extraordinary to express God’s love? Bless someone today by helping them with their meal or take someone for a cup of coffee and just encourage them in the Lord. God bless You!

Orphans Needs in Ukraine & Latvia June 2017

June 26th, 2017|

As a result of our recent ministry into Ukraine & Latvia we have found human needs beyond our imagination. There is a huge section of society that has been widely neglected by government and local councils. Orphanages and Homeless People’s needs. As you know we are supporting many orphanages in Eastern Europe, that have endured another horrendous winter. As a result, there are needs that still have to be met for the children’s well-being. We have the glaring opportunity to help but lack the funds to meet these needs. Health needs, supplements, vitamins and special needs – like children needing [...]

Wonderful Ministry in USA

October 15th, 2016|

I had four weeks of very fruitful ministry in USA against the backdrop of uncertainty surrounding the upcoming presidential elections. Arriving in Bloomington in late August, I spent a couple of days resting up with my hosts, Steve and Janet Eddington. The House Church meeting in LeRoy, Illinois was very sweet and the worship was wonderful. The prophetic message I had for this congregation was well accepted and the fellowship over lunch was excellent. Sunday evening I enjoyed at the Harvest Family Church with a small, but enthusiastic group of people. Monday lunchtime I met with the group of strong [...]

The boy from an orphanage

March 3rd, 2016|

The winter of 2004 in Berdichevo, a small township near Zhytomyr, Ukraine, was no different to any other winter. It was cold. Cold and dark. An unknown woman carried a child in her womb, a child that she couldn't care less for. It was an unwanted, and very unexpected pregnancy. A pregnancy that she believed complicated her life more than she wanted. She wanted to be “free”. Free to do what she had become a slave to: drinking, partying and stealing. To her being pregnant and having a child was a liability from which she desperately wanted to escape. Fast forward ahead and it was now the point of no return. The labor pains brought her to a small hospital where soon after a urgent arrival she gave birth to a baby boy. He was small, skinny and unwanted. He certainly wasn’t ready [...]

Christmas Message

December 27th, 2015|

We trust that you are enjoying God’s blessings in this wonderful Christmas season. Thank you so much for your wonderful support and your kind gifts through the year to help us care for the orphans in their times of need. It’s Christmas time and also a very snowy and icy-cold time of the year. We want to make the Christmas season as happy as possible for all these needy orphans of Eastern Europe, and your giving goes a long way to help in that situation. There are heating bills to be paid, medicines and vitamins to be supplied, and Christmas gifts and hampers to [...]

Odessa Update

October 30th, 2015|

Arriving in Odessa we were hosted by our delightful friends, Pastor Oleg and Tanya Vasilchuk and their beautiful baby daughter, Abigail. We enjoyed a walk around this picturesque old city filled with historical buildings and landmarks like the famous opera house. Then it was down to business visiting the Youth Gym Club that Oleg created with the homeless teenagers who once lived in the drains under the city of Odessa. A few years ago Oleg led to Christ, the European welterweight kickboxing champion, Igor Manjul, and his wife, Anastasia, who are assets in the church. Igor trains these rugged youngsters [...]
