I had four weeks of very fruitful ministry in USA against the backdrop of uncertainty surrounding the upcoming presidential elections.
Arriving in Bloomington in late August, I spent a couple of days resting up with my hosts, Steve and Janet Eddington. The House Church meeting in LeRoy, Illinois was very sweet and the worship was wonderful. The prophetic message I had for this congregation was well accepted and the fellowship over lunch was excellent. Sunday evening I enjoyed at the Harvest Family Church with a small, but enthusiastic group of people. Monday lunchtime I met with the group of strong businessmen in Ogden Illinois. The conversation was like “iron sharpening iron”.
Monday evening saw a saw a wonderful Outreach Dinner meeting in Ogden IL arranged by Ken and Pam Cooley for a delightful group of people.
Back in Bloomington I enjoyed a wonderful evening meeting at the Jesus House with Tom and Bonnie Lentz for the homeless and poor of the area. These people are precious and so receptive of the word of God.
The next Sunday I had the privilege of ministering at the Latter Rain Fellowship in Danville IL led by Don and Chris Prouty. What a wonderful service that was in the presence of God.
The next day I flew to Memphis Tennessee to meet up with dear friends, Ned and Kim LaWarre whom I’d not seen for a couple of years. It was great spending time with them. I was able to catch up with longstanding friends – Pastor Bob Thomas and his son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Shawna and their daughters for a meal and delightful fellowship. Then a good friend of mine, Frank Webb, from Columbus Mississippi drove the 3 hours to where I was, for a very enlightening and edifying time of fellowship, out of which flowed some great strategies for future ministry in Eastern Europe.
I then flew to Philadelphia and met up with Pastor Wayne and Christina Lebak of the Celebration Community Church in Bordentown NJ. What a wonderful time of fellowship with my dear friends. The following day I was privileged to speak to the senior students of the prestigious New Jersey Christian Academy at the start of their new school year. It’s been a joy to speak at this high school for six years now. We’ve seen many students come to the Lord and many receive God’s call on their lives. The Celebration Community Church service on Sunday morning was magnificent. The presence of God was so gentle and brought His healing touch to quite a number of hurting souls.
I then flew to Boston to catch up with some wonderful patriarchs of the faith, Ron and Terri Golding and their son John who have served Jesus faithfully for many decades. I then drove to Mashpee, Cape Cod to share with wonderful people at a Home Meeting with John and Linda Andrewski. What a delightful meeting of fellowship, sharing and prayer. It was wonderful meeting up with long-standing friends, Bill and Jayne Condon, Susan LaPlant and Pastor Erik and Tami Eskelund. The following Sunday I was privileged to share with the congregation of the Faith Assemblies of God Church in Hyannis with Pastor Steve Hawley. What a special time of prayer ministry followed that service. Straight after that meeting I drove to Boston airport to fly to Richmond Virginia where I was hosted by dear friends, Pete and Marie Teodori.
On the Monday evening it was a joy to minister to the people of the Church of the Nations led by Pastor Jason Pascale, and catch up with a lot of long-standing friends. The following morning I had the privilege of ministering at a Bible study class of students at the Elijah’s House Academy in Richmond. That night it was a pleasure to enjoy fellowship with wonderful friends in Pete and Marie’s home. The following morning I had the joy of speaking at the full morning assembly at Elijah’s House Academy. That was very special as the students responded to God’s word.
I then flew to Orlando, Florida to catch up with long-standing friends like Pastors Mark and Becky Berney of the River of Life Church, Merritt Island and Pastor Mark and Gina Fadely and a lot of special friends at a meeting at the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Titusville.
A report on the current ministry in Latvia and Ukraine follow soon. Thank you so much for your faithful prayers which have caused this ministry to be so fruitful
