Urgent needs in Odessa

We have many teenage orphans doing work related courses at present, to enable them to prepare to enter the workforce when they turn 18 this year. These work related courses have marvellously been provided for. This enables them to get better jobs and apprenticeships to start earning an income. If they don't have these opportunities available to them, there is a strong possibility that they might live on the streets. Summer Camps in Latvia and Ukraine

The first of the Summer Camps in Latvia began with a wonderful burst of joy and enthusiasm at the campsite near Riga in Latvia. There are 2 camps running back to back that have about 150 young people from the city youth groups coupled young teenage orphans who will strike up wonderful friendships. When the orphans leave their orphanages at 18 they are normally invited by their city friends to stay with them while they search for jobs in the city. Orphans Christmas parties & gifts

We want to thank you so much for your very kind support which has gone a long way to giving many orphans a wonderful Christmas season. Through your generosity we were able to provide warm meals and quality educational gifts for these needy children. They so appreciated our local teams visiting them over the last few weeks, presenting gospel concerts and giving them their Christmas treats. Our faithful local teams travelled long distances to help these children to have a happy and beneficial time this Christmas. As a result of our recent ministry into Ukraine & Latvia we have found human needs beyond our imagination. There is a huge section of society that has been widely neglected by government and local councils. Orphanages and Homeless People’s needs. As you know we are supporting many orphanages in Eastern Europe, that have endured another horrendous winter. As a result, there are needs that still have to be met for the children’s well-being. Ministry in Ukraine in April – May 2017

I would appreciate your prayers very much for my upcoming visit to Latvia and Ukraine, where I will be checking on the orphans to see how well they have coped with the winter, and also conducting outreach seminars for the military, military high schools and basketball teams. God’s grace to three needy broken little boys – through your kind help

Little 4-year-old boy adopted in Latvia Our local managers and teams in Latvia and Ukraine, who do so much practical work to help the orphans in Eastern Europe, never cease to surprise me with their creativity and compassion. These teams of young people visit the orphanages regularly, providing concerts with spiritual value, and take them all sorts of goods we’ve been able to provide—bedding, clothes, medicines, vitamins and supplements, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers and educational requisites. Latvia/Ukraine February 2016

The programme in Latvia was amazing. It was freezing with snow and icy cold winds each day. In Latvia I had wonderful seminars in the military high schools out in the country where the attention and respect was marvellous – even from some students who were challenged by my warnings to stay away from corrupting influences. Latvia ~ Orphans Winter Needs – Jan 2016

As we have said in our post for the Ukraine orphans really need urgent help for the Orphans of Latvia and Ukraine in their great need at this very cold time of the year in Ukraine and Latvia. The current temperatures average around -20C (-4F) horrendous, and many orphanages have been penalised for exceeding their electricity usage.
