Amazing Ministry coming up in Ukraine October 2017

August 15th, 2017|

I want to thank you for your great friendship and your wonderful partnership in the gospel. You have been such a blessing and encouragement to us and more especially all the orphans we support in Eastern Europe. We couldn’t manage this vital work without your help. God bless you richly for your generosity. It has been an amazing privilege to minister the Word of God to the Military and Military Academies in Ukraine and see many hundreds come to Christ. As a result, the morale of the troops has grown and military family relationships have been healed. This increase in [...]

Latvia ~ Summer Camp No. 2 – August 2017

August 14th, 2017|

The second summer camp was a huge blessing in that many teenagers made deep commitments to Jesus. They really bonded with others of their age from various youth groups. These camp friendships build wonderful connections for the newcomers to join the city youth groups. This has been most successful in the past. As you know, at these camps, their relationship with Jesus grows and we see many being healed of long-standing hurts caused by harmful and abusive circumstances in their lives. Each of the teenagers received a Bible of their own, many for the first time. They really treasure them. [...]

Latvia ~ Summer Camp No. 1 – July 2017

August 14th, 2017|

The first of the Summer Camps in Latvia began with a wonderful burst of joy and enthusiasm. A real breakthrough was having 7 young people from Israel come to the camp. They were from a Messianic Synagogue in Tel Aviv, where I have ministered a number of times. These youngsters came to the camp in order to have a deeper relationship with Messiah Yeshua. They loved the fellowship with the gentile teenage believers.   There were over 80 youngsters at the camp from 7 to 14 years of age, plus the local team of dedicated and spiritual workers. The meetings [...]

Wonderful time of ministry ~ May 2017

July 4th, 2017|

United Kingdom I had an amazing Sunday in early May ministering at St Luke’s Lighthouse Anglican Church, in Hawkinge near Dover, Kent where the worship was beautiful. The first service was more traditional and saw many older people recommit their lives to Jesus. The second was a family service in which four people gave their lives to Jesus. USA From the UK I flew to Massachusetts to visit some dear older friends in Hingham Massachusetts – Ron and Terri Golding. I had a wonderful few days of fellowship before travel-ling to Cape Cod to share with a group of precious [...]

Ukraine Mission April 2017

June 13th, 2017|

After the very intense ministry at 6 military bases and 3 high schools in Latvia, my Latvian manager and interpreter, Sasha Rodionov, and I flew to Kiev, Ukraine to begin another bout of outreach ministry. Kiev The Rugby Seminar was attended by a small number of chaplains and psychologists, and those who attended were very impressed and impacted by the message and power-point presentation that we gave. The one issue that was of great encouragement was, “At times, to be successful you have to do some-thing you’ve never done before, and possibly some-thing that nobody else has ever done before.” [...]

Amazing Ministry to the Latvian Military and Schools – April 2017

June 12th, 2017|

I flew in to Riga, Latvia on Sunday evening from the UK and began ministry to the Latvian Military the next morning. I have been greatly privileged over the last 7 years to conduct outreach seminars to the NATO military, navy, air force, national guard and military police. For these outreach seminars, I have used a PowerPoint presentation sermon (30 – 45 minute) with Latvian translation on the screen. My seminars this time have been entitled “Don’t give up - no matter what the circumstances” - I deliver these at slightly different levels for military personnel as opposed to teenagers. [...]

Ministry in Ukraine in April – May 2017

March 16th, 2017|

I would appreciate your prayers very much for my upcoming visit to Latvia and Ukraine, where I will be checking on the orphans to see how well they have coped with the winter, and also conducting outreach seminars for the military, military high schools and basketball teams. In Kiev Ukraine I’ll have the privilege to minister at a Rugby Convention for the Ukrainian Rugby Union where I will have the opportunity to share Jesus with the sportsmen, managers, coaches and officials. This was arranged with the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Sport on my last visit in October 2016. In Ukraine, [...]

God’s grace to three needy broken little boys – through your kind help

December 20th, 2016|

Little 4-year-old boy adopted in Latvia Our local managers and teams in Latvia and Ukraine, who do so much practical work to help the orphans in Eastern Europe, never cease to surprise me with their creativity and compassion. These teams of young people visit the orphanages regularly, providing concerts with spiritual value, and take them  all sorts of goods we’ve been able to provide—bedding, clothes, medicines, vitamins and supplements, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers and educational requisites. They also let me know the needs that the children have. We have one team in Latvia and two in Ukraine that are [...]

Latvia and Ukraine – October 2016

October 17th, 2016|

I want to thank you so much for your wonderful support and your faithful prayers. God bless you for your kindness that enabled us to meet so many of the orphans needs, as well as bring many people to Jesus, in needy places where I have recently been ministering. These countries included Latvia and Ukraine where I, with the help of my interpreter Victor Volchenko, was preaching in Military Bases and High Schools, as well as checking on the orphanages. It is already exceedingly cold in those regions – even before the snow has started falling. I was in Latvia [...]

Latvia/Ukraine February 2016

February 19th, 2016|

The programme in Latvia was amazing. It was freezing with snow and icy cold winds each day. In Latvia I had wonderful seminars in the military high schools out in the country where the attention and respect was marvellous – even from some students who were challenged by my warnings to stay away from corrupting influences. The needy people in church services were very encouraged. Two Men’s Fellowship meetings at Ogre Ogre Men's Breakfast were very well appreciated. The church services at the Golgotha Baptist Church (where the Military Chaplain General is the pastor), and the large Russian [...]
