People have started eating dogs in occupied Eastern Ukraine: no food has been delivered to the city since May. People are saying, “There is actually nothing to eat there”. This is happening in the Odessa region too, and the villages around the House of Hope. The shops and markets are being systematically being bombed. The situation is worsening not just every day, but every hour. There is no chance of rescue. People have two options: either die of starvation or be hit by a drone. There is no third option.” Thanks to your kindness the House of Hope has been able to keep up the purchase of basic foods from a few local sources at reasonable prices. Thank you for your kindness and help.

Russia’s goal: No communications

Since the beginning of September, Russia has been striking internet provider and mobile operator infrastructure, damaging data centres and network nodes.
Continued attacks of this kind could lead to a deterioration in internet quality and speed, as well as an increase in service costs. Our manager at the House of Hope says that they only have one hour of Internet connection per day and that’s hardly strong enough to send messages out.

We continue the practice of changing the names in our reports of those that we help. This practice is for the security, safety and privacy of those concerned.

Please do not repost any of our content to any Social Media that will compromise the people that we help, thank you for your understanding.

Ukraine’s Missing Children

We are still very disturbed about the Ukrainian children that Russia kidnapped from Eastern Ukraine. Moscow’s “ruling” has been that if a child is without its parents for more than 10 days (such as at a summer camp), then the parents have “abandoned” that child. Russia’s kidnapping of Ukrainian children is not unique – they have long used children as political pawns. They have been placed in “Reconditioning Farms” where they are being brain-washed into “good Russian citizens” who will eventually forget their Ukrainian homes and parents.

Stolen Children put up for adoption on Russian websites

An amazing fact is that Russia had been removing children from Ukraine since before its invasion in February 2022.? In the first weeks of 2022, children were removed from two schools in occupied Donetsk six days before Russian troops were sent in.? Ukrainian officials say they have evidence of almost 20,000 deported children are being sold on this Russian website but fear the number could be more. Russia has not attempted to hide what they have done, rather boasting of mass deportations of Ukrainian children. They are saying that Russia has “picked up” about 744,000 children from conflict zones in Ukraine and has “given them refuge” in Russia, in camps that have been nicknamed “Torture Farms.”
