2017-10-18T11:22:41+11:00October 16th, 2017|

Greetings from Odessa, Ukraine at present. I trust that you are all well and enjoying God's rich blessings at this time. Bless you for your wonderful support that has helped has helped us immensely to meet the needs of the orphans and disadvantaged babies of Ukraine at this time. My managers have just been calling out this past week for supplies for the huge needs that have arisen - for example, I was urgently asked to provide adult size nappies for an 18-year-old handicapped orphan boy, Petr, who was born without genitals and needs to wear nappies permanently. When I [...]

Amazing Ministry coming up in Ukraine October 2017

2017-08-15T10:31:40+10:00August 15th, 2017|

I want to thank you for your great friendship and your wonderful partnership in the gospel. You have been such a blessing and encouragement to us and more especially all the orphans we support in Eastern Europe. We couldn’t manage this vital work without your help. God bless you richly for your generosity. It has been an amazing privilege to minister the Word of God to the Military and Military Academies in Ukraine and see many hundreds come to Christ. As a result, the morale of the troops has grown and military family relationships have been healed. This increase in [...]

Ukraine Mission April 2017

2017-06-13T11:35:53+10:00June 13th, 2017|

After the very intense ministry at 6 military bases and 3 high schools in Latvia, my Latvian manager and interpreter, Sasha Rodionov, and I flew to Kiev, Ukraine to begin another bout of outreach ministry. Kiev The Rugby Seminar was attended by a small number of chaplains and psychologists, and those who attended were very impressed and impacted by the message and power-point presentation that we gave. The one issue that was of great encouragement was, “At times, to be successful you have to do some-thing you’ve never done before, and possibly some-thing that nobody else has ever done before.” [...]

Ministry in Ukraine in April – May 2017

2017-03-16T13:22:36+11:00March 16th, 2017|

I would appreciate your prayers very much for my upcoming visit to Latvia and Ukraine, where I will be checking on the orphans to see how well they have coped with the winter, and also conducting outreach seminars for the military, military high schools and basketball teams. In Kiev Ukraine I’ll have the privilege to minister at a Rugby Convention for the Ukrainian Rugby Union where I will have the opportunity to share Jesus with the sportsmen, managers, coaches and officials. This was arranged with the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Sport on my last visit in October 2016. In Ukraine, [...]

Latvia/Ukraine February 2016

The programme in Latvia was amazing. It was freezing with snow and icy cold winds each day. In Latvia I had wonderful seminars in the military high schools out in the country where the attention and respect was marvellous – even from some students who were challenged by my warnings to stay away from corrupting influences. The needy people in church services were very encouraged. Two Men’s Fellowship meetings at Ogre Ogre Men's Breakfast were very well appreciated. The church services at the Golgotha Baptist Church (where the Military Chaplain General is the pastor), and the large Russian [...]

Ukraine Orphans Christmas gift project in Zhitomir

2016-10-14T11:49:27+11:00March 1st, 2014|

This wonderful news came in from my manager, Viktor, in Zhitomir - 150kms west of Kiev. “We prepared for the Christmas gift project this year to provide gifts for more than 400 orphans and street children in Zhitomir and the surrounding towns. After that we took Christmas gifts to the sick children and orphans as well as the children at the Street Kids Centre and children of 20 poor families around us. The children each received gifts of sweets and toys. Since some of the street children were sick we had to meet with them separately from the other children [...]
