Temple of Heaven
Temple of HeavenSome team members and I visited the famous Temple of Heaven - meaning to the Chinese, the sky and atmosphere. There I noticed a team of young Chinese ladies dressed in McDonald's Olympic uniforms. I asked them if we could have a photo together with them. We began to share Jesus with them and in the end they all gave their hearts to Jesus.

Tombs of the Emperors
On a free day the whole team went to see the Tombs of the Emperors of the Ming Dynasty Tomb guideMing Dynasty and visit the Great Wall of China. It was a strenuous day of climbing thousands of steps. Our tour guide, Sylvia, received Jesus into her life during the time together. Two young Chinese ladies befriended by Andre, the Haarlem Globetrotter, the day before when Andre visited the Temple of Heaven, Andrejoined us on the tour and gave their hearts to Jesus as well. They have become two of our witnessing interpreters and are learning how to share the gospel very fast.

Daily devotions and strategy training
In the mornings we meet for prayer and planning for the day. The Lord has impressed so many wonderful strategies on our hearts that have worked out each day in sharing Jesus with athletes and people as we meet them in the highways and byways of this huge bustling city. It's been a joy to lead devotions for the team and encourage them each day.
