We had very intense time ministry in the orphanages, prisons, camps and churches.

The mission was amazingly fruitful even with all the intense activities involved - the planning, preparation, talking with the pastors and leaders, planning the right interpreters and drivers, negotiating times and venues, choosing the right vehicles for each small team, traveling to some far distant locations, planning the speakers and messages for the meeting, then engaging in the actual ministry and immediate follow up activities.

These Eastern European people are still hungry for the Word of God and that makes it easy to minister here. The responses to the ministry of the word have been marvellous, especially among the young people.

Also I have to ascertain the large number of Bibles needed for the new people who have come to the Lord inWord of Truth ~ baptisms the prisons, youth camps and the meetings in the needy churches. With their hunger for the Word they ask for Bibles for the new converts all the time. When someone gets baptized (this is a big issue with the Slavic people) they are presented with a Bible. In the summer months so many are baptized as a public witness to their new faith in Jesus.

The orphanages presented a challenge with the physical needs of the children that we'll try to meet now or in the future - providing for the start of the school year with school clothing and requisites, the finalising of the work related courses for the older orphans, and the provision of funds for the heating of the orphanages for the winter months that begin in October.
